Practice on 17/8/07 was commendable for the attendance but not very well done on the practical side.
Firstly, we were really happy that most of you all came on time. U all settled down really quickly even before mr wei came. So i expect a round of applause for all of urselves! ^^
However, the practice itself was nt very well done. Most of u all were talking non-stop, thus nt listening to what mr wei was teaching. The rhythmic patterns that mr wei was sharing with us is really important for the new song we are learning right now, yet most of u were NOT attentively listening.
弹拨： Please sit upright and stop strumming ur instruments unnecessarily!
打 击： I understand that u all have nothing to do, but this does not give u the chance to keep talking and talking (Disrupting the whole rehearsal!)
二胡： Same problem as daji. People that were sitting in front were talking so loudly! and SIT PROPERLY!
Cello/ Bass: Sit properly too. Not much of a problem
笛 子： Transpose ur scores!!! Its really saddening! i gave u all 2 weeks to transpose yet nothing was produced! Please do ur parts and STOP TALKING!
In overall, Practice was not very well done! We have not much time to next year's concert! JIA YOU!!!
